Street Team
Jayme & Jody’s Morseketeers is a special group of people who help us get the word out about our books. It is open to our readers, as well as book review bloggers. For those who are unsure about what a street team does, they are the people who go above and beyond to spread the word about our books.
Here is a list of some of the things that a Morseketeer might do:
- Help us spread the word about new releases and other news. Tweet about it, post about it on Facebook, etc.
- Tell your friends, family, co-workers, classmates, etc. about any of our books that you recommend.
- Leave an *honest* review about our books on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Goodreads, and anywhere else you typically review books.
- Try to buy new releases on the day they’re released to help give them an extra “push.”
- Post cover reveals, blurbs/summaries, book reviews, sneak peak chapters (with permission) on your book review blog if you’re a blogger.
- Request our books at your local libraries.
While we don’t expect you to do *all* of these things, we hope that you’ll do as many of them as you can. This will take some time and commitment on your part, but there are some benefits that you will reap in return.
What does a Morseketeer get in return?
- You’ll be the first to learn about any news we have about our books.
- You’ll have access to cover and title reveals before anyone else.
- You’ll be invited to vote in exclusive polls to help us choose book titles, covers, character names, etc. whenever we need our readers’ opinions.
- You will be given access to teasers and other sneak peeks before anyone else.
- You will be given complementary swag once it is available.
- You’ll be given access to ARCs.
And finally, as you will need to join our Facebook group in order to become a Morseketeer, you will also have a place to chat and connect with our other readers and supporters. You might even make some online friends!
