About the Author

Jody Morse is a young adult paranormal romance author. She co-authors with her younger sister, Jayme Morse. They live in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, which is where many of their stories take place.  

Morse knew from a young age that she wanted to be an author. Her love for reading began with the Baby-Sitters Club series by Ann M. Martin. Morse credits the late author Lois Duncan for first igniting her interest in the paranormal.

Morse attended East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, where she received a degree in English with a concentration in Writing. After college, she knew that she wanted to revisit her passion of writing. One night, she and Jayme Morse decided to start writing their first young adult paranormal series The Briar Creek Vampires entirely on a whim. After receiving their first fan mail, they continued to write.  Over 70+ books and 11 years later, Morse feels grateful to do what she loves for a living.  

In her spare time, Morse can be found binge-watching the latest Netflix show, cuddling with her Russian Blue kitten Baloo, drinking way too much iced coffee, and listening to country music.
