We decided that a few of the things we've been working on need some time and a lot of revisions before we're ready for you to read them. You will be getting a young adult witch series and Accidentally in Love, but not yet. We'll keep you up-to-date on that once it gets closer.

We have some other things planned for you in the near future instead, but we're only going to tell you about a few for right now. The first is A Girl and Her Wolf  (A Howl series companion novel). Here are some details about the book, which we're expecting to release in November 2013.

Now, I'm sure you'll have questions about this, considering Cursed was supposed to be the last book in the Howl series. And technically, it is. Here are some FAQs about A Girl and Her Wolf.

Is this book the same as the others in the series?

No, it's not. The other books were focused on Samara. This book will be told in Emma and Colby's points of view. It will focus on their relationship, and some of the secrets they share with one another. There will be new story lines, but it will also have flashbacks of the past as well, so some of the scenes may feel familiar.

But I thought the Howl series already ended, and I'm so over it already. Do you mean I have to read this book to finish it?

No. You don't have to read A Girl and Her Wolf in order to be finished with the Howl series. It's not necessary to read the book in order to understand the series. It is complete on its own; A Girl and Her Wolf is merely a companion novel to the series.

Does that mean I can read A Girl and her Wolf without reading the rest of the Howl series?

No. While you don't need to read A Girl and Her Wolf for the Howl series to feel complete, you probably won't understand the book if you read it without having read the Howl series.

I've read books 1&2 already. Can I just skip to this book?

We wouldn't recommend it. If you read this book prior to reading Cursed, it will spoil some of the things that you learn about the characters by the end of the series. It's best to read A Girl and Her Wolf after you read the rest of the series first.

So, is this going to be like a novella, then?

A Girl and Her Wolf is not a novella. It will be the same length as the other books in the Howl series.

Check back tomorrow for more details about the other new project that you'll be seeing in the future--The Koto Chronicles, which is a Howl spin-off series!

Hi Adriana,

We're expecting it to be closer to the end of the month, but if there's any change in plans, we'll post something! :)
